D-00 Infobox - Infobox

At the top there is a list of Infoboxes that belong to the labeled article in the list (the active article in the list).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Type type of the Infobox is defined through the administration, so it hints to the graphic designer which type of the element will be used in InDesign (Library)
Text text of the Infobox
T (title) indicates whether the Infobox has a title or not
(a plus sign says it has)
S (status) status of the article according to the page (F, T or L)


At the center part there is a line of menus for work with the elements.

 

 

 

 

Place placing the Infobox on the page (the article is linked to the page but is not locked). In this status the editors, journalists, proofreaders can still enter the Infobox  through StoryEditor and change it
Link linking the Infobox to the page (the Infobox is locked in InCopy). After this, you can not open the Infobox through the StoryEditor and make changes. If you want to make changes, in this phase of work, you can do it through InCopy or directly in InDesign
Unlink unlinking the Infobox from the page, the Infobox is unlocked and assignment files for InCopy are deleted. This function is not connected to the whole article, so if used, it will not change the status of the article (if it is linked, it will stay linked)
New adding the new Infobox to the active article (use this function when creating the new article or on an article already created, into which you want to insert the element)
Delete deleting the Infobox from the article
Select From ID
(Select From InDesign)
select this function to select the frame in the list of the StoryLink (Infobox list), if the Infobox is already selected in the list of the StoryLink (Infobox list). This function can be used in case when the Infobox is connected to the page (T or L) and is very useful for quick selecting of the elements from the page in the list of Infoboxes
Select In ID
(Select In InDesign)
select this function to select the Infobox labeled in InDesign, if the Infobox is already selected in StoryLink (Infobox list). This function can only be used when the Infobox is linked to the page (T or L) and is very useful for quick labeling the articles from the list of Infoboxes in InDesign page
