Table preview type
This type of preview is suitable for working with layout as well as for quick previews of the page statuses.
The table contains:
ID | the identification number of page. When creating the edition every page is assigned its own ordinal number that is saved to the system folder (Press / Composition / Root) |
M | the label for two or more connected pages (Multiple pages) |
Page section | A section to which the page belongs to, can be changed easily through dropdown menu (1), through menu Spread Section to page you can easily broaden certain Section to more consecutive pages (2) |

Absolute Page No. | actual number of pages - this function shows the actual number of pages that will be shown when creating the PDF for control and press |
Page No. to Display | number of pages that will be shown on the page in the InDesign document - in some cases pagination on the page will not be identical to one shown in the name of PDF file (for example, at supplements in the newspaper) |
PDL (Page Deadline) | deadline for an individual page (if different from deadline listed when creating the issue). Enter minutes before the defined deadline for delivery |
Page File Name | name (identification number) of InDesign document |
PPF (Pages per File) | shows the number of pages in some document (e.g. one theme can contain 9 pages) |
SP (Start page) | shows which page is the first in the document with multiple pages, that eases search for the InDesign document (column Page File name) that carries all the pages in a block |
Color Type | use this function to define whether page is black and white or in color |
Status (Status Log Info) | enables preview of usernames and time when they worked on the page, quick preview of workflow on pages; clicking the PDF icon opens PDF in low resolution (you can download or print it) |
Lock | shows when user is on the page, holding cursor over the icon with padlock will show name of the user (graphic designer) with opened InDesign page |

Subject | shows added subsections - e.g. In culture Section subject can be literature, that is how graphic designer can easily see which subsection goes to which page. Typing subject on the first page of block (Multiple page) the same is (after confirming) shown on all pages. If page in InDesign document contains frame tagged as a Subject it will be filled with this values |
T/Z | use this option to reach the plain text versions assigned to pages, as well as .zip documents of all pages linked elements (texts in InCopy format and photos with original format on the page) |

Edit subject theme - is used for typing theme on the page. This is useful at layout planning because it will be shown when printing. (Project Preview Config / Print Layout) Print list - lista članaka pridružena stranici (radni nalog koji urednik predaje grafičaru) Page Print List- shows the article’s working title, number of text characters (Chars), number of lines (Lines), whether text contains superscript title (SUP), headline (HEAD), subheadline (SUB), number of photos (PH), number of infoboxes (IB), articles class (Class) and photos with their attributes joined to article |
Article list | shows the number of articles on the page and their statuses. Placing the cursor over the icon opens the additional window with details on text (working title, author, time of creating, status, status on the page and identification number of articles). Clicking the number of each text opens it in the new window for detailed preview of the article |
CF (Centerfold) | shows mutually linked pages that do not follow one another in the sequence. In this case pages also have to be in the same Section and only left and right page can be combined. After selecting the left page (check box on Centerfold start page - left page) copy page’s ID number (ID column) and paste it on the referent right page (Centerfold reference ID - Id of the left page) |
