Page Manager
This option allows us to manage various actions related to articles or pages.
The option is located above the first page if few pages are connected into the Multiple Page or above each page if they are singles.
1. Applied Template on Page - shows which template is connected to the page or the pages
2. Articles on Page - list of the articles assigned to the page or the pages
First column |
Article statuses on page. |
Second column |
Article status workflow (Admin -> Admin rticles -> Article Status Config) |
Article Title | Working article title |
Page | Article page |
F | Change the status of the article F - Free |
U | Unlink article from the page |
D | Delete article |
Manage Articles | Applies settings that we have defined for articles |
Note: Actions F, U and D are interrelated, meaning we can not delete an article if we did not select and unlink the article and return the status of the article to F. So if we want to delete the article, all three options should be highlighted.
3. Page Actions - page and articles management simultaneously.
Remove Template ID from Page? (Just remove info about applied Template file.) | Deleting the template data (the template information that is used on that page). |
Replace Existing .indd File with Default .indd Template File (Create new blank page) | Deleting page layout, applying blank_template document |
Change all Articles to Free Press status (Articles is still connected with page) | Changing article status presses in F-Free, but the article's boxes on InDesgin's page retain their IDs and stay connected to StoryLink. |
Unlink all Articles from page? (Articles is still in Articles list but not connected with page) | In this case, the Frames of articles on the InDesign page no longer have IDs and are not linked to StoryLink, but are still in the article list in StoryLink under Articles. |
Delte all Articles from Page? (Articles are deleted from system) | Delete articles from the system. |
